Casual Food & Beverage Attendants (Retail Hospitality) | The Gabba

O’Brien Group is looking for enthusiastic and reliable casual team members to join our Food & Beverage team at The Gabba for the upcoming event season.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across major events including Carreras and Friends, T20 Internationals and the Big Bash League, as well as other exciting events throughout next year.

This is a great opportunity if you're looking for flexible casual work that can fit around study, other work or personal commitments. Shifts will primarily be scheduled around event and match days, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

We're looking for people who enjoy working with others, providing great customer service and being part of a fast-paced event environment.

Available Positions:

• Bar – Cashier/Servery - Must be 18+ and hold a current RSA.
• Food – Cashier/Servery
• Grill Cooks – Previous experience preferred.
• Fry Cooks – Previous experience required.
• Chefs – Previous experience required.
• Barista – Previous experience required.
• Cellarperson – Previous experience required.

About You:

To be successful in this casual position, you will:

• Be reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
• Have a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Be available to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced event environment.
• Have professional presentation and a willingness to maintain high standards.
• Have previous hospitality, events or customer service experience where relevant. We also welcome candidates who are new to hospitality and are willing to learn.
• Have experience using POS systems where relevant to the position.
• Hold a current nationally recognised RSA certificate if applying for a bar position.
• Have valid working rights in Australia.
