About the Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs, or Chefs of a higher level to join our casual culinary team at People First Stadium for the 2025 AFL season and beyond.

In this role, you will take the lead in one of our game day function rooms, working alongside a passionate, creative team dedicated to delivering exceptional food and service. This is a great opportunity for motivated chefs who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to be part of an iconic venue in Carrara, Queensland.

You will also have access to additional work opportunities at exciting events such as AFL, NRL, cricket matches, concerts, and other special occasions across our other QLD venues.

 

 

About You

We are looking for chefs who are self-motivated, passionate, and take pride in delivering excellence on every plate. You will bring a broad range of culinary knowledge and a desire to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

  • Strong leadership and the ability to guide a small team under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude

 

Chef Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Minimum of Chef de Partie level experience
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Experience in large-scale production environments, with a focus on high-end function dining and/or corporate catering
