O'Brien Group is excited to be offering the opportunity for you to join our Kitchen Team at Adelaide Showground for upcoming events as well as the Royal Adelaide Show (Saturday, 30th August – Sunday, 7th September). We are looking for reliable, highly motivated, and passionate Casual Chefs and Kitchenhands who can contribute to and enhance food preparation at Adelaide Showground.

 

About the Role

As a member of the Adelaide Showground Team, you will work in several different areas of the kitchen, ranging from food preparation, fine dining, and canape functions.

 

About You

To be successful, you must have:

·         1 year or more experience working in commercial venues/event catering

·         Trade Qualifications (Chef only)

·         A hands-on approach to the daily operations of working in a busy kitchen environment

·         The ability to take direction and work in a team

·         HACCP food safety knowledge

·         The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

·         Ability to work with limited supervision

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
