About the Opportunity

As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the club, ensuring exceptional service, compliance, and a great experience for our members and guests. You will lead a team of hospitality professionals, manage front-of-house operations, and ensure the smooth running of Club Laverton. There is potential for a full time position for the right candidate.

About You

You are a passionate and hands-on hospitality professional with a knack for leadership and customer service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, keeping cool under pressure while ensuring both staff and patrons have a great experience. Your strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities make you a natural leader, and you’re confident managing a team while handling day-to-day venue operations.

You will also bring:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality (clubs, pubs, or similar).
• A customer-first approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
• The ability to lead, support and motivate a diverse team in a busy environment.
• Strong operational knowledge of gaming, bar, TAB and bistro services.
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A current Victorian Gaming Licence, RSA & RSG certificates.
• Flexibility to work a mix of days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Effective leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Monitor and maintain all gaming equipment, venue facilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons and staff.
• Adherer to all gaming and liquor licence regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure the Clubs reputation of excellence is upheld at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of gaming activity and compliance records.
• Assist other managers in daily operations, including gaming, bistro and bar areas.
